Refunds, cancellations and billing questions

Parent Binder ($79, one time)

• Before we start: cancel any time before you upload papers and we refund you in full.
• If we can't make it: if the files are unreadable, or the permission form can't be completed, we refund you in full.
• If it doesn't help: tell us within 14 days of delivery and we refund you in full. No forms.
• Mistakes: if anything in the binder doesn't match the page it cites, tell us within 30 days and we correct it free.

For professionals (first client $49; then $149 per client binder or $79 per bill check)

The same rules: cancel before upload for a full refund; a full refund if we can't make it; a full refund within 14 days of delivery if it isn't useful; free corrections within 30 days.

Monthly plans ($19/month to keep a binder current; $249/month practice plan; $29 per client per month for bill checks)

• Cancel any time by email. You won't be charged again, and the plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for.
• Unused month: if you cancel within 7 days of a monthly charge and we haven't delivered an update since that charge, we refund that month.

How refunds are paid

Back to the card or account you paid with, through Stripe. Banks usually show it within 5–10 business days.

Questions about a charge

Email nick@starrynightops.com with the subject "Billing question" before contacting your card company. We answer within one business day, and most issues are fixed the same day.
